WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT & WHY?
The information we collect is name, address, contact number and email address, date of birth, Emergency contact name and number. Beyond this, health & fitness related information which you have provided to us at consultation/membership purchase stage is also collected. This information is crucial to us providing a safe and effective personal training service.
Personal Data will only be used in ways that are in line with why it was originally provided. For example, we will not contact someone designated as your emergency contact for marketing purposes.
You have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about you. Please email us if you would like to request this.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP THE DATA FOR?
We have a Data Retention Policy in place. This states that we will not retain your details beyond 6 months of the end of your membership.
We will never share your details with third parties
We conducted a GDPR audit in May 2018 and are satisfied that we are compliant with the changes in the law around Data Protection, and that we take adequate measures to keep your data secure.
3rd PARTY CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRMs)
We use Teamup and Mailchimp as CRMs.
To use our service, you must register with TeamUP, our booking and membership system. TeamUp acts as a data controller for your data jointly with Pod Fitness. TeamUp will collect information such as name, email address, date of birth, payment details, or other information the Business would like to collect.
Our Newsletter, Blog and Occasional Offers are delivered to your email via Mailchimp. You can Unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the Mailchimp emails, or by emailing us directly.
