LEARN TO RUN ANYONE?
I have been reminded this holiday of what a gift it is to be able simply to pull on your trainers, step outside and run. To escape bickering children, regain headspace, calm, and to destress. To feel nicely tired, to sleep well at night. Just a 20-minute run can tick all these boxes for me.
But once upon a time, I couldn’t run, or at least I believed I couldn’t. I had no idea that I was missing out on this amazing panacea. So in order to share the running endorphins, I’m leading a 5 week Couch to 5K course in September. Designed for absolute beginners, it will be a friendly and supportive group who will progress together. After just 5 weeks, you really will be running 5k! And you will have gained the freedom, fitness and confidence just to pull on your trainers and go for a mood-boosting run whenever you want!
COUCH TO 5K
Starts Fri Sept 13th2019, then every Friday for 5 weeks
(final Friday is the 11thOctober)
Cost £30 with proceeds towards John Betts Y6 fundraising
